At RAW Talent Dance Convention, our vision is to redefine the dance convention experience by creating an environment where every dancer feels seen, valued, and inspired. We believe dance is about more than steps and technique—it is about discovering individuality, building confidence, developing artistry, and finding the courage to express who you truly are. Through meaningful education, genuine mentorship, and a supportive community, RAW encourages dancers to take risks, explore their creativity, and grow both as artists and individuals.

A defining part of the RAW experience is our RAW Showcase, where dancers have the opportunity to perform and share their work in an encouraging, educational environment. Following each performance, our RAW Mentors and Convention Instructors provide live, on-the-spot feedback, giving dancers meaningful insight they can immediately take with them into their training. Rather than focusing solely on scores or awards, the showcase creates an opportunity for conversation, connection, and growth—allowing dancers to hear directly from industry professionals who have spent the weekend teaching, mentoring, and getting to know them as artists.

Our goal is for every dancer to leave RAW with more than great classes and memories. We want them to leave with greater confidence, a stronger understanding of their artistry, meaningful connections with their mentors, and a renewed excitement for why they dance. RAW is a place to learn, perform, experiment, and evolve—a place where dancers are encouraged to embrace what makes them different and truly Release the Artist Within.
