At RAW Talent Dance Convention, we are committed to creating an inspiring, supportive, and safe environment where every dancer feels encouraged to grow, explore their artistry, and express themselves freely. To ensure an exceptional experience for everyone, we ask all dancers, parents, teachers, and guests to follow the guidelines below.

1. Registration & Participation

• All dancers must be officially registered before participating in convention classes.

• Registration fees must be paid in full prior to the event unless other arrangements have been approved by RAW Talent Dance Convention management.

• Dancers must participate in their assigned age division unless otherwise approved by RAW Talent Dance Convention faculty or management.

• Registration credentials or wristbands must be worn throughout the event and may not be shared or transferred.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention reserves the right to verify registration and age eligibility.

2. Convention Classes

• Dancers are encouraged to participate in all scheduled classes within their registered division.

• Dancers should arrive on time and be prepared for each class.

• Appropriate dance attire and footwear are required. Clothing should allow dancers to move safely and comfortably.

• Dancers must follow all instructions provided by RAW Talent Dance Convention faculty and staff.

• Dancers should remain in their assigned classrooms unless directed otherwise.

• Dancers are encouraged to challenge themselves, try new styles, and approach every class with a positive attitude.

3. Respect & Professional Conduct

• RAW Talent Dance Convention maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disrespectful behavior.

• All participants are expected to treat fellow dancers, instructors, staff, and guests with kindness and professionalism.

• Dancers should respect one another's personal space and individual abilities.

• Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class or the event without a refund.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention encourages dancers to celebrate one another's accomplishments and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

4. Parent & Teacher Observation

• Only registered dancers and authorized individuals may enter convention classrooms.

• Parent and teacher observation will be permitted only in designated areas and according to event-specific guidelines.

• Observers must remain respectful and avoid disrupting classes.

• Parents and guests may not enter restricted backstage or faculty areas without permission.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention reserves the right to limit observation to ensure the safety and comfort of participants.

5. Safety & Supervision

• Parents, guardians, and studio representatives are responsible for arranging appropriate supervision for minors outside scheduled classes.

• Dancers must follow all venue safety regulations and RAW Talent Dance Convention staff instructions.

• Running, horseplay, and unsafe activities are prohibited in classrooms, hallways, and common areas.

• Any injury, illness, or safety concern should be reported immediately to RAW Talent Dance Convention staff.

• Dancers should bring water and remain properly hydrated throughout the event.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal belongings.

6. Photography, Video & Social Media

• Photography and video recording may be restricted during classes at the discretion of RAW Talent Dance Convention faculty.

• Flash photography is prohibited during instruction and performances.

• Participants must respect the privacy of other dancers and follow RAW Talent Dance Convention's photography policies.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention may photograph or record event activities for promotional purposes in accordance with the media consent obtained during registration.

• Social media content should reflect RAW Talent Dance Convention's values of positivity, respect, and encouragement.

7. RAW Talent Dance Convention Showcase Guidelines

• All showcase routines must be registered and paid for by the designated deadline.

• Showcase entries must meet the published age, category, and time-limit requirements.

• Music must be submitted according to RAW Talent Dance Convention's music submission guidelines and deadlines.

• Music, choreography, costumes, and performances must be age-appropriate.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention reserves the right to request changes to material considered unsafe or inappropriate.

• Dancers and studio representatives must be present and prepared at their designated performance times.

• Showcase participants are expected to demonstrate respect and professionalism toward all performers and faculty.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention's live faculty feedback is intended to be constructive, educational, and encouraging. Feedback is not a guarantee of awards, recognition, or future opportunities.

8. Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations

• All registration fees are subject to RAW Talent Dance Convention's published refund and cancellation policy.

• Requests for registration changes must be submitted in writing.

• Transfers or substitutions are subject to approval by RAW Talent Dance Convention management.

• RAW Talent Dance Convention reserves the right to modify schedules, faculty, programming, and event details when necessary.

• If an event is canceled or significantly changed, RAW Talent Dance Convention will communicate the available options in accordance with its published policies.

9. Faculty & Staff Interaction

• Dancers are encouraged to engage with faculty in a respectful and professional manner.

• Private instruction or one-on-one meetings with faculty during the event must be authorized by RAW Talent Dance Convention management.

• Dancers may not enter faculty lounges, dressing areas, or restricted spaces without permission.

• All interactions should support a safe, positive, and professional educational environment.
